Hasselbaink is tasked with preparing the England squad for the match against the nation he represented on 23 occasions between 1998 and 2002. He has been credited with helping the likes of Jude Bellingham improve their penalty taking as the Three Lions look to avoid another upset this week.
WHAT FODEN SAID
Foden has no concerns about Hasselbaink having split loyalties ahead of the game. When a reporter jokingly asked him if the former striker would be frozen out by the players and staff ahead of the game, the England star replied: "No, I think we need him! I think we need him for the work that he’s been doing. Yeah, we definitely need him!"
